I was lucky enough to capture this beautiful sunset as I neared the end of a day’s cycling. The heat was just beginning to dissipate, seeming to seep in russet shades into the evening sky, silhouetting the figures on the sea wall as they walk, or prepare to cast a line.
It’s a classic scene, almost a cliché in some ways, but I like its timelessness. It is also transient, another five minutes, the sun will dip below the horizon and this moment will be gone. |
